The preceding action to business development is relationship development. I have mastered this concept and employed this application since my first job as a teenager.   • Initiated and collaborated with Aleris for producing custom embossed painted aluminum product for Fold A Cover truck tonneau cover production; $500,000+ annual new sales; provided customer significant material cost savings and displaced long time incumbent vendor 
  • Sales totals for territory:  7,000 tons for $6.9 million in gross sales

February 2006 - July 2008

  • Sales for 2008:   $3.5 million 
  • 2007 sales transactions generated $3 million new sales dollars for both carbon and non ferrous products  
  • Developed Perforated Tubes account generating over $1.5 million in sales of stainless steel coil products 
  • In April 2006, booked $500,000 contract for proprietary aluminum alloy coil product with Middleville Tool & Die  
  • Developed (12) new accounts in the first 16 months of employment, establishing a new book of business
  • Increased sales of non ferrous metal products by 12% at Walker facility in 2007

  • Provided sales support and account management for all First Operation Blanking accounts, including:  Steelcase, Weber-Stephen Company, Benteler Automotive, Tower Automotive, Irwin Seating and Bradford White Company.  Total sales for these accounts exceeded $30 million annually
  • Coordinator with Production Control for all manufacturing activities in the division. Managed raw material levels and finished good inventories for the division  
  • Directed the Steelcase vendor approval program for the entire company
